THIS GAME IS NANG! (FYI the term "nang" means great! cool! really good!)

Ok I know you videogame fan boys are probably saying "ahhh man you're so frickin laatee blah blah" Well yes I am late nice to spot that out..here's a shiny gold star! place it on your chest, raise your head high and pat yourself on the head!

ANYWHOO enough of my sarcasm..:-)

Okami is a super great game. Ported from the Ps2, You play as a Wolf named Amaterasu set in the Nippon times of Japan. I'm Currently Playing the Wii version at the mo' and it's quite impressive, the graphics are pretty giving you the feeling of playing a game made out of japanese paintings which is quite a fresh idea, not your super 1080p kinda game but since the graphical capabilities of the Wii are inferior to the other elite consoles ( ps3 and Xbox 360...duh you should know the other present generation consoles by now...lol) its still pleasing to the eye. The music is catchy leaving you humming and singing along to the tunes while running full speed through the spacious land.."Dah dah daa da daaaaaahhh". This adventure game has high similarities compared to the Zelda series but you shouldn't feel that it has actually ripped the Zelda series off, You can easily tell the developers at Ready at Dawn were fans of the Zelda series and wanted to make a game just as great, they have done that! And have included their own sort of originalities such as the celestial paint brush techniques which personally to me is fresshh maan! I love using the technique while fighting enemies and puzzle solving. Obviously, every game has its flaw, Okami has quite a few well especially on the Wii platform like using the brush technique can be a pain in the frickin' rectum sometimes its like ARGHHH damn let me do that technique again..ARGGHHH for FUCK sake...let me do it AGAIN!..and after 4-5 times of trying and banging your head on the wall of your house till you've realized you're bleeding a bit you'll eventually get it right and feel like you can get on with life, It doesn't affect the gameplay highly but it's super annoying because of the retarded Nintendo Wii motion sensing controller so it takes time getting used to( fucking gimmick..I joke I joke..). The world map is huge, Plenty to explore, plenty side quests, easily 40 odd hours of gameplay, this is Niiiceee since most games these days are like 10 hours and i'm paying £30. Okami is heavily underrated which is annoying because shitty games like "Sonic and the roundtable of 40 thieves" ( thats not a real sonic game if you're looking for it sonic fans...its just a prediction of what the next sonic title may be...) get exposure and other mediocre games like Fable 2 which has pointless quests in its gameplay are highly rated.
Okami is a very decent game and it's worth a play if Zelda-esque games are your thing, give it a go because Playing this game makes you think "hold on...why aren't most games these days made with thought, creativity and brilliant ideas like this?

Watch the men!..what men? watchmen!...the movie...:-)

Dont worry about my title....yeah I felt a bit creative there..ANYWHOO!

Watchmen a good movie? Well yeaaaahh its decent, NOT great but its really good. Zack Snyder has some really cool special effects and you can tell he is a fan of cool stylish effects especially his trademark "sloOoOow doOoOown" effect ( fast fight scenes then slowed down with a slow mo critical blow to the face) similar type of visuals in his previous movie 300. This comic book adaption is actually really cool personally but I think the movie is lacking depth with most of the characters. I mean, it wasn't as deep as the comic book Alan Moore introduced us to and I feel that the movie was more of a flashy super stylish movie rather then a movie with alot of depth. You'll watch the movie then after you will be left thinking WOW that movie was siick! It Rockkss maaan! Then, 20 mins later you'll have a deep think, then come to the fact that it hasn't really got THAT much substance. I mean, Snyder got the scenes right, the shots in place correctly story sticks to the comic really well ( which most comic book movies fail to do) BUT I feel that he could of made the characters a tad bit more deep. Especially favorites such as Rorschach and Dr Manhattan. Well I could explain the whole movie but I havent really got time to do that..(*lies*..I dont like writing really :-), and your probably wondering why am I blogging..long story ) so I suggest you read the comic book! even if comic books aint your thing its still a enjoyable read, and then watch the movie, then you'll see what im on about. I ain't complaining anyway most comic book/videogame movie adaptions suck...but hey atleast this aint the spiderman movie :-)

Let Her Go: Story of Basu

Well My first project I'm starting on is for a university assignment. Ive Chose to do a 3D animation that hopefully i'll get done on time....Yep im always late..so bear with me I'm a bit of a perfectionist aswell..

The Concept of my story is about a warrior/slave named Basu and his mother Achimah banished to the depths of the underworld (hell) where families are all under rule by notorious demon like creatures, the dead are forced to work under dire circumstances slaving away to help build the diminished demon land that has been partly destroyed by the battles between the heavens and the underworlds through vast periods of Centuries. Only a few special people are redeemed and saved by the angels of the heavens in attempted rescue missions. Fortunately for Achimah she is one of the chosen ones that are being saved, this has lead to Basu feeling emotionally hurt and heartbroken since it is the only family he has left and wants to go with her. In this animation it shows Basu being chased while he is rushing to the light that is uplifting his mother to the heavens hoping he has chance of redemption and he can go with her.
